What is a nonogram?

A nonogram is a picture logic puzzle, also called a Japanese crossword, griddler or hanjie. The numbers beside each row and above each column tell you the lengths of the runs of filled squares in that line. Solve all the lines and you reveal a small pixel picture.

Every puzzle on nonogram.dev is original pixel art made for this site, and every one has been checked with a solver: it has exactly one solution, and you can reach it using line-by-line logic alone, with no guessing.
